THE ATTACK

killing 40 soldiers and leaving 100 missing, according to the news story.
Any other country would have immediately responded to this challenge with another bombing equal or more powerful, but the risk is to trigger a war.
Syria is at war two years ago against mercenaries trained by the U.S., France and England and have sophisticated weapons.
